Auditions!!!!
Dragon Films, located in Canton, Ohio, is in search of
talented actors to play GOTH and VAMPIRE roles in the
up-coming film, BLOOD RUBY. Lead, supporting, and
background roles are available. Auditions are being
held in Canton, by appointment only. To be considered,
call Dragon Films via 330-453-8738. Audition
requirements are: headshot/resume, 1-3 minute
monologue, come dressed in Goth/VAMPIRE attire.
ALL work done with Dragon Films is strictly
non-union/non-paid and is under a credit-work only
contract. Shooting will take place in Canton, Ohio.
BLOOD RUBY
When a master vampire hears of a great and powerful
stone that houses the strength of age-old vampires
from the centuries before him, he seeks to obtain the
stone for himself. Willing to do anything and stop at
nothing to get his precious stone of power, the master
vampire must find the three vampire warriors that
guard the stone from evil and them. In an all out
battle for the stone, it comes down to just one thing:
who wants the stone more...
MARIK - Master Vampire - 20s - Male
Marik is very strong and ambitious. He is very
mysterious. He delves deep into a person's soul to
unvail a person's deepest desire. He is very smooth,
controled, calm, and merciless. His appearance is all
black, with dark characteristics. (prefer black
hair/blue eyes, but will consider other colors)
DONAVON - Vampire Warrior - 20s - Male
Donavon is strong and solid, an upstanding warrior and
very knowledgable of his surroundings and place in
life. Donavon is controled and has pride, but will
fight to the finish to stop evil - even die for it.
Since he is a warrior, he is very gifted. (prefer
blonde hair/blue eyes, but will consider other colors)
MADISON - Vampire Warrior - 20s - Female
Madison is the cool one of the three warriors. She's
very smooth and fluent in everything she does. She
always appears to be floating or walking through water
when she walks, talks, and fights. She can move in
ways of a dancer or gymnast. She appears to be soft
and gentle, yet is really very strong and very capable
of doing her job. (some dance/gymnastics required.)
SEBASTIENNE - The Master's Minion - teens/20s - Female
Sebastienne is a little-girl-lost kind of character.
She has beauty inside her, boiling over to reach the
outside. She's not exceedingly beautiful, but has alot
about her that would prove to be pretty. She's very
shy, timid, and unsure of herself. She just wants a
man to love her, protect her, be with her. She gets
her wish when she meets Marik. (prefer petite girl,
but will consider others)
ISIS - The Guardian - teens/20s - Female
Isis was the last guardian for the stone, and is the
one who passes the stone off to the three warriors
before Marik could ensnare it from her. She's valiant
and wise, but isn't as strong as most - however, she
is by far as proud and stubborn. (this role is a small
part)
EXTRAS/BACKGROUND ACTORS
We need as many as possible, 50 at least, but more
toward the mass amount of 200. All background actors
would be in various make-up and hair styles/colors.
Background actors STILL NEED TO AUDITION for the
directors. The audition process is slightly different
and is thus: a) make an appointment to be seen, b)
bring headshot/resume; snapshots accepted if a
headshot is unavailable, c) come in goth/vampire
attire, d) talk with the directors.
